I’m sharing this unfinished quilt top since it reminds me of my mother. My mom loved coffee and enjoyed life. She never worked out at the gym, but got a daily dose of exercise by walking a mile to the nearest McDonald’s for a small cup of coffee. I also look forward to my morning cup of joy and during the month of May, I am rewarded by Panera Bread with free coffee. Lucky me, my nearest PB is right across the road. To every mother, stepmother, grandmother, great grandmother, godmother, foster mother…..
