The t-shirt quilt shown below was a fun way to use the tees that I know I should have stopped wearing a long time ago. I even persuaded my husband to get rid of some of his own. Nine tee shirts are enough to make a quilted throw, but I decided to add pieced segments for further interest. The flag inserted was leftover from a previous project from long ago. I’m always happy when I am able to use up some of my scraps. As you can see, I’m not finished with this quilt, as I am considering the final details for the borders and backing. If you know how to sew, this is an easy quilt to try. If you can’t sew, you may want to find someone to make a memory-filled t-shirt quilt for you.
Artfully yours,
Chris
